Key responsibilities
Act as the Tungsten subject-matter expert and translate capability into clear operational outcomes.
Configure AI OCR for both structured and unstructured forms, alongside scanning, email ingestion, document classification, validation and routing in a sandbox environment.
Design routing, exception handling and queue allocation so validated requests are directed to the correct work queue and BPM handoff for processing.
Define integration patterns, including API calls to AIB systems to retrieve customer information and confirm that inbound requests are valid before downstream processing.
Produce evidence-based demonstrations of what can be automated now versus later.
Deliverables
Configured Tungsten sandbox workflows for scanning and email ingestion, including AI OCR for structured and unstructured forms and document classification.
A working prototype for mortgage per-condition ingestion and routing, including OCR, document classification, customer validation and work queue allocation.
Configuration artefacts and handover documentation.
Recommendations on automation boundaries, licensing implications and production readiness risks.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Java.
- Expert-level Core Java (Version 21 and above; client works on Java 25 LTS).
- Proficient in multithreading and concurrent Core Java solutions.
- Proficient in unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
- Ability to create microservices based on Core Java (without Spring / Spring Boot).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker (Secondary Skills). - Individual contributor working directly with client stakeholders.
- OCJP Certification is a bonus.
